Mount of Beatitudes

This location commemorates Jesus famous Sermon on the Mount and whilst the site may well not be historically accurate, it is a beautiful spot. The church was a gift from Mussolini and a walk around its colonnade provides a beautiful view of the Sea of Galilee. The beautiful gardens are a delightful place to spend some moments in contemplation or prayer. There is also a well stocked shop and clean toilets.
